Lise-Marie Schwander

Lise-Marie Schwander (1989, the Netherlands) is a visual artist and photographer. Her main focus lies in curiosity for the unknown. With a profiler point of view, Schwander shows the spectator worlds that she explores in her research. Schwander does not limit herself to a certain genre in photography; the subject of her choosing determines the genre. Subjects are usually inspired by individuals, tragedies, transience, injustice and crime. Based on personal experience, Schwander mirrors her chosen subjects. Her work can be characterized by liberty, and the opposite.
